IndiRock – 2 hour rock climbing event

Saturday 14 May (7-9pm)

IndiRock is Southend’s first bouldering wall, opening this March, and we’ve managed to book it out for a private 2-hour fundraising event. Bouldering is the simplest form of rock climbing, no need for ropes or harnesses. Just a pair of shoes, some chalk and you’re ready to go.

We welcome children aged 6+ with their parents/guardians and any ages above including adults to come, climb and enjoy our fundraising evening. Bring the whole family to support our Scouts from Southend Estuary attending the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea 2023.

You will be able to climb walls of increasing difficulty, taken through warm-ups and some games by the IndiRock staff. Hugo’s Pantry coffee shop will be selling delicious food, drinks and sweet treats so you can rest and recuperate.

We have a capacity for 60 climbers, with a further 30 people dining in Hugo’s Pantry. We will have one supervisor for every 6 novice climbers and safety waivers will be required prior to climbing.

Cost: £17 per climber including shoe hire

Location: First Floor, Victoria Plaza, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 5SP

All climbing tickets will be entered into a prize draw for a top prize of Rock ‘n’ Roll family experience (two adult and two child climbs with drink and cake for each person) cost £39 donated by IndiRock. There is also a runner up prize of a £25 voucher donated by Mangetout Bar & Grill.
