Curborough 6 Hour Race 2023

Date: 13th Nov 2023 Author: Explorers

Our last race of the season was a day/night @ Curborough near Tamworth. Both teams starts brightly considering they had a 3 hour car ride before the race. The track was relatively flat and provided a fast pace. The weather was overcast and before long the rain made the track quite slippery in places. Our U14 gained a good lead over the other U14 which increased as the race when on. They managed to overtake all the U16 teams and starting to gain on the U18 team. The Girls U16 again showed good technique and gained more experience in faster conditions. The last hour was dark, wet and cold but both teams finish strongly.
